Three simple ways to create light, texture and depth in scenes that exist only in your imagination.

Magical light

Decide where the glow comes from and lighten the edges facing it. The contrast makes the magic appear to emit light.

Fantasy textures

Distinguish scales, metal, hair, water and fabric with different stroke directions and varying surface shine.

Color that tells a story

Use warm colors for adventure and energy, cool colors for mystery, and pastels for a sweet or ethereal atmosphere.
