Summer Palettes Challenge

Color this unicorn with a five-color palette

Here is a summer unicorn for a relaxing coloring session: a beach umbrella, shells, sand and a tiny crab watching the scene. Choose five colors in the Pencil Atlas, fill in the swatch squares on the page, and use that same palette to bring the drawing to life.

Make it soft, tropical, ocean-inspired, coral, pastel or completely imaginary. The joy is seeing how the same unicorn changes with each person’s colors.

  • Choose five colors in the Colored Pencil Atlas.
  • Fill in the palette squares on the page.

An illustration never turns out the same way twice.

The start of the challenges

It all began with one illustration and a shared palette.

The first color challenge took place in September 2024. It already contained the idea that continues to shape Lapiceros Unidos: start with the same drawing and celebrate completely different results.
