An idea for your own version
A plum-colored ribbon
Borrow three colors from the Plum Wings palette: soft pink for the ribbon, aubergine for the folds and dark indigo beside the knot. Try leaving a highlight on the practice sheet before you tackle the bow.

From the first layer to the finishing touches
Make the ribbon shine with one pencil
Start at the muzzle
Keep the whisker area pale and start the coat markings at one ear.
Shape the ribbon
Press a little harder beside the knot and lift the pencil across the roundest part of the loop.
Turn the corner
Use the same pencil on both faces, with a little more pressure on the side.
Four details to take your time with
Paws
Add a thin shadow on the cardboard immediately beneath each paw.
Bow
Leave the highlight on the top curve and deepen the inside of the loop.
Eyes
Work around the highlights already drawn into the eyes.
Wrapping
For patterned wrapping paper, carry small dots from the front around to the side.
How do I keep whiskers visible on a dark coat?
Shade lightly around the whiskers first, keeping a thin strip of pale paper beside each line.
