A little artist to bring to life with color

Chibi painter bunny coloring page

This bunny holds a paintbrush in both paws and seems to be deciding what to paint first. The large ears, jacket and marks on the ground offer plenty to explore without making the drawing complicated. Download and print the page, then color it your way.

I would start by choosing the jacket color; the fur and paintbrush can then complement it without competing with the face.

The paintbrush invites you to imagine a story: what is the bunny about to paint?

A palette with personality

Ideas for coloring the bunny and paintbrush

Keep the fur almost white or transform it completely. There is no single correct version.

A springtime artist

Try a sage green jacket, soft pink ears and a yellow paintbrush tip. Leave small light areas on the forehead and muzzle.

A studio full of vivid colors

Combine turquoise and coral in the clothing. Repeat one of those shades in the marks on the ground so they look like paint drops.

A storybook version

Use cream for the fur, blue-gray for the shadows and warm brown for the paintbrush handle. The eyes will stand out without needing to darken everything else.

To compare shades before you begin, open the colored-pencil Atlas to choose the bunny’s palette (in Spanish).

Take your time coloring

How to give the ears and jacket volume

A few gentle shadows are enough to give this character more shape.

Long ears

Keep the outer edge light and add color in the center of each ear. A second layer near the base separates them from the head.

Jacket and pocket

Color the fabric with light pressure. Deepen the folds beneath the sleeves and around the pocket, keeping the front brighter.

The paintbrush and ground

Choose a color for the paintbrush tip and repeat it in one or two splashes. That makes the scene suggest the bunny has already begun its painting.

Download the drawing and create your version

Save the page and leave a small margin around the ears and paws when printing. If you color the background, begin with a very light layer to keep the bunny as the main focus.
